I wonder if psychics in Maine are better than psychics in other parts of the country. I bet if they are, it’s because they live closer to the Aurora Borealis than most Americans. The Northern Lights are pretty weird looking, and the electromagnetic disturbance they represent has to play havoc with psychic powers.

I’m guessing that astrologers living that far north probably have their psychic powers either amplified or nullified, due to all the magnetic resonance in the atmosphere. Maybe psychics from Alaska are more powerful, but I’m betting Mainers have pretty high rates of psionic ability.

People from out West, such as people from the California Astrology Association, think they have pretty powerful psychics. They’re probably strong in the ways of the Force, because they’re parents and grandparents were early-on into New Age mysticism and zodiac signs. But the fans of Calastrology are about like Lakers fans–real arrogant about the local talent.

For instance, look at the state gemstone of Maine: the tourmaline. Tourmaline is astrologically tied to Libra, while it aids in objectivity, positive transformation, and understanding. Think about all those things: psychics under that kind of influence have to be a lot more powerful than West Coast astrologers. That’s just my opinion–not to get an East Coast/West Coast thing going in astrology, like what happened in hip-hop.
